Richard Hurley MVB MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon
Richard graduated from University
College Dublin Veterinary College In June 1983. He immediately
went into mixed practice in Co Donegal gaining expertise
in bovine, ovine, and equine medicine. In 1985 he emigrated
to Australia and specialised In Greyhound and Companion Animal Medicine. He
also spent some time with world renowned equine expert Michael
Sadlier on Warwick Farm Race Track In Sydney. In 1995 Richard
built his own purpose built veterinary hospital, Hurley’s
Veterinary Hospital, at Brewery Road, Tralee, Co Kerry, Ireland.
Richard is a past Chairman of the Kerry Veterinary Clinical
Society and Patron to the New Veterinary Teaching Hospital
In UCD. He and his family live with Coco (dog) and Tiffany (cat) and
breed Pedigree Chihuahuas.
